The vision for Salon JAM is to create a unique space that showcases our distinct yet similar personalities. We each had many years of experience in cosmetology working for established salons, so when we decided to build a space curated entirely by us from top to bottom, it seemed only natural to name the space Salon JAM, for Jen And Madeline.

Our philosophy has always been to give guests an experience that not only helps them look amazing, but feel amazing. We take the time to connect with each guest personally to make their hair dreams a reality, using premium products and accessories to enhance their natural beauty and amplify their personal style.

And it's not just about the hair for us, it's about creating a culture around fashion and community. We're all about creating a space for individuals of all ages to come together, support, and learn from each other, creating a vibrant community of artists, trendsetters, innovators, and change-makers.

Meet JAM

Jen Jones

  • Jen, a passionate hairstylist with 17 years of experience, kickstarted her career in her hometown, Dallas, Texas. After a year and a half of apprenticeship, she ventured into the fashion world, collaborating with Kérastase in New York City, focusing on runway looks and high-fashion trends. Her journey led her to Reno as an Aveda stylist, and led her to her final move to the electrifying city of Las Vegas. It was here where she connected with Madeline and opened Salon JAM, driven by their vision for a unique client-centric space.

    Jen's unwavering commitment to growth and learning has taken her around the world, from Tokyo for hands-on training with renowned hairdressers to becoming Bellami extension certified. Her passion for education keeps her at the forefront of her craft, ensuring she stays ahead of the ever-evolving trends in the world of hairstyling.

    • Jen is a Vegan with a passion for Animal Rescue, and a soft-spot for pitbulls.

    • She lives with boyfriend and family of 3 dogs and cats.

    • Jen’s a huge bookworm and currently in a Spooky Book Nerds book club.

    • If you can’t find her, she’s probably at a concert or Disneyland.

Madeline Perrone

  • Madeline has a a family history steeped in the beauty world, including a grandmother who owned a salon and a mother who excelled as a makeup artist, Madeline's identity has always been intertwined with beauty and fashion.

    Her passion for hairstyling began in high school, and had always dreamed of the connections she would build with her clients to help them feel beautiful from the inside out. Madeline officially began her career in 2015, and after graduating from the Douglas J Aveda Institute, she served as an apprentice in a Chicago salon where she specialized in cutting. Her unwavering commitment to ongoing education since then has kept her at the forefront of industry trends and allows her to continually refine her craft.

    Madeline thrives on creating signature looks that become her clients' defining styles. She excels in crafting lived-in colors, cuts, and seamlessly blended extensions that offer a chic, effortless appearance, making hair the ultimate accessory.

    • Madeline is a Foodie gym lover with a passion for Asian and Italian eats.

    • She is obsessed with Stella, her french bulldog and bff (best furry friend).

    • In her spare time, Madeline collects hobbies and loves trying new things.

    • If you can’t find her, she’s probably out trying the latest restaurant or at book club with friends.
